Consultation at Sunberry I.L.S.

The day is Thursday 30th September 2010. A representative of H&F council came to ask our opinions if the council was to close Sunberry. They said the moves they had in mind were to move some people to Imperial Wharf and some to Elgin Close Resource Centre. The council wanted to know what people's opinions were. For me it wouldn't pose a problem but for several others it might. They were bothered whether the care and assistance they receive now would be continued at Imperial Wharf or Elgin. The lady from the council said they had every intention of doing most of the things being done at the moment at Sunberry,which for myself was very reassuring. We had all been given forms asking if we would agree or disagree to the move and the council said nothing will be decided until they had been returned and counted, which should be in about four weeks time. So even though they couldn't give a sure answer, I still found it helpful.
